Sentementality shouldn't come into this, ask yourself is Elano good enough week in week out to be a top four player in my opinion the answer is no. If he stays he will be a squad player if he goes I wish him well and thank him for the memories.

Well he couldn't get in it this year unless people were injured and with all the talk of players coming in I don't think he stands a chance. Are you for real? The guy plays when the sun is shining. He has two balls in his repotoire. The one to Robinho & the one he pings to no-one \ or out of play.
He doesnt tackle, moans publicly in the press.
I think too many people here look through blue tinted glasses where this guy is concerned. He played well in the last month of the campaign, but there was nothing between the Boro game the previous season (around Oct 07) and the end of march 2009!
If we can get Inter to splash the cash on him, I think he'll be gone.
Before I get hammered, if you have a midfield to select from of
De Jong, SWP, Petrov, Ireland, Johnson, Weiss, VK, Barry? Where does Elano fit in?

Petrov will be bench at best... Weiss is too young yet.... VK is a defender... Johnson way off fitness.... Barry plays for Villa...
