Elano

Best deadball specialist we have got!

I am not convinced about this, thats a very sweeping statement. He takes most of our deadballs and what do we really achieve from them over all ? I dont mind if he stays and knuckles down with the rest of the squad though.

lol nice corner though just as I typed that, 3-1 now

I don't think he will go actually. I thought it was 100% that he was not a MH type of player but he appears to have had a change of heart regarding Elano. The problem I have with him is his lack of consistency. He can be awesome in some games and then anonymous in others, it does my head in because you know he's got that talent inside of him.

With Deco apparently going to Inter Milan (a player who plays the 'Elano' position) and Juventus thankfully uninterested with a Treza / Elano swap then I think that points in one direction in itself. It's whether he can handle not getting first team football consistently that'll be problem.

Is he 100% gone? Watching him play for Brazil makes me want him playing along side Ireland. He possesses tremendous skill and with him gone, who takes our set pieces?[/quo

i agree mate just look how he n robbie played 2geva towards end of season and his performance v hamburg was outstanding so why does mark hughes decide on not playin him, especially if we get these big names

Thought I read somewhere recently that Hughes wanted him to stay!

Think the guy is brilliant when he can be arsed!

Best deadball specialist we have got!

Hope he stays and fights for his shirt but would sell if he throws his toys out the pram like last season

i read that 2 not sure where think it was in the mirror

How many of his free-kicks hit the wall this season. How many of them did he score???

No doubting his penalties tho!

Answer this though, who on this year's squad was better than him?
