There are some people with short memories on here. He was equally great and abysmal during his time at City with his Brazil clique destorying unity in the dressing room. Who can also forget his recommendation of that Mexican Striker. So shit that I've forgotten his name.

The scarf wearer didn't bring him back. We put up with a petulant, injury prone foetus like Balotelli instead.

Sending hiom packing was one of the things Hughes got right. Elano sulked moaned and had some truely awful games after such a great start. Then he realised his future was on the line suddenly he loved the club wanted a new contract etc... funnily enough he had a storming end to the season. Hughes saw right through it and got rid.

We have a dip in form and all of a sudden the worms come crawling out and old has beens are seen as a "way forward"
