Elano was a lazy and disruptive player who never fulfilled his potential.

Some players remind you of the Industrial Revolution and some of the Renaissance (not my own analogy, comes from a report on England v Hungary in the '50s.) Elano was the latter kind.
Or how about he was Fred Astaire compared to clog dancers?

Elano was a player who added to our history and should be remembered for what he did? A good player for us. Why should he not bask in the current City glory?

Good on him to be still involved in football and always a good word for his time at City. A good ambassador in South America.
