Elano

At one point he did have a little argument with Studge which is a shame to see that they have not put last week's events behind them.

It was a surprise to hear that Elano couldn't pass, and no surprise to see the stats that prove he can.

Now I hear that one of the most insightful forward passers of the ball can only pass sideways and backwards, wonders will never cease.

FWIW our best period of the game IMO was between half time and when the twat got sent off. Elano was in everything.

I have to agree.

We looked a much better side with Elano in. We carried more of a threat.
Once Tranny was sent off, they kept 9 men behind the ball at all times, making it difficult.

At least Hughes acknowledged he got it wrong at half time.

And for all the people out there who say they'd pick vas in front of Elano want there head examining.
Shauny is one of the best ring wingers in the country. he should be moved out to the wing,
and Elano brought into the middle of the park.

BUT, for certain games i wouldnt play him. Such as against Bolton, Wigan, Stoke, teams who are very
aggressive.

I guess that everyone has there own opinion...people see what they want too. I'm guilty of it myself.
Thats the beauty of forums...

He didn't give the ball away far too often, where are people getting this idea from? He gave the ball away 5 times which in 45 minutes of football against a team set out to defend for most of that time is pretty good going

It's the football fan syndrome.

Elano could do fuck all for 89 mins and then pop up with a winner in the last minute and be named MOTM.

Elano could just keep it simple and go unnotice but make two bad passes and he has had a shit game and given it away far too often.

He could (MOTM) but he never is. Inconsistent, trouble maker ... get rid

We aren't good enough to be getting rid of players of his calibre.

True for now but he is a major contributor when it comes to lack lustre performances. Since he won't be happy going forward, i.e. stands even less chance of being an automatic choice, we might as well get rid now. That way will not have put up with any trouble making or lack lustre performances in the interim.

Elano a man of the past if he doesn't knuckle down, become more consistent, and put the team ahead of himself. Fed up with him and the weaker performers in the team holding us/MH to ransom.

Regardless of who manages us, if they cared and had any pride, they should be able to beat Notts Forest
