From what I hear then no, however its not that easy is it. The manager should be doing his utmost to get him onside, not every player wants to run 11k per game which Hughes asks his midfield players to do. Elano has the talent thats been seen but its gone terribly wrong and it seems theres no about turn.

Each to their own, i thought he did ok considering when he picked the ball up there was very little movement in front of him. He was getting into space all the time and always trying to make a positive pass which can't be said for most of the others on Friday. Either way to drop him from the squad whether he was poor or wasn't is a shocking decision when you look at what was on our bench today

You have got to be kidding. On Thursday he was brushed off the ball and went off moaning for a foul. About 5 mins later he was off. I phoned my mate then and said we will never see him in a Blue shirt again.
I don't get all the fuss about Elano.

Elano has been far from great this season but its plain to see that he is being singled out by Hughes, I am not having that Elano has been any worse than the likes of Dunne, Richards and Vassell yet neither one of these players has been discarded the way Elano has been. It is little wonder there are divisions between players when they dont all get treated the same by the manager.
I did not like Sven and his style of play and I wanted him out but I could never knock him for his man management, it is very rare you hear a player speak up against him and most say what a great manager he is to work for, Hughes on the other hand has a lot to learn by the looks of it!
