Elano's Gloves

Elano is a nice guy.

I hope he has put this thing with Hughes behind him and wants to stay at the club, because he is quality. He may not be our star player anymore, but he will always have a part to play at the club.
 
hopefully he's turned the corner after early problems with Hughes and will become a key member of the squad,especially for the UEFA cup games.Looked sharp when he came on and played some good passes and showed some good turns and skills.

Nice to hear about him giving his gloves to the ball girl.
 
He was really good with that ball girl cos she looked embarressed and nervous for him to give them to her. Quality for Elano.

...did enjoy him giving everyone a round of applause as he ran ON to the pitch, made me laugh.
 
Yeah I saw that ! was saying to my mate the ball girl didn't look too impressed as if to say "can't you go and ask Robunho for his instead ? ..... "

I think they would have been too small for her anyway ! ;-)
 
If he's got his head screwed on he's a great asset to the club. If Steveie's suspended or injured I'd very uch like to see him in his preferred role. With de Jong and Kompany behind him I think we could afford to put him there, especially at home games
 
He saved us from a Wigan goal last week, starting to take on a more defensive role in his game like Ireland.
 
oh dear you all fell for it. it was blatantly obvious elano was giving the girl them gloves as some sort of PR move; he pretty much giv them her in slow motion to make sure more people saw it. he thinks hes the son of god the way he swans about the touchline when hes warming up.

thought he had a good game though last night.
