Not sure if he's good enough to play semi-regularly for us but can't knock his professionalism to put his head down and get his way back into the team. Roberts and Nasri could've learned a thing or two from him.

Good in the limited time he was on the pitch. Was originally frustrated with Pep bringing him on instead of Foden or Gundogan, but Otamendi was on a yellow so fair play.

Think something like today or the League cup is the only time we'll see Mangala playing barring injuries.

I think he did himself no harm at all today, Pep's not going to suddenly become a manager that closes up shop during a game but he is probably our most physically imposing and athletic CB now, against the right opposition and in the right situations(aerial duel hoofball teams) he can be useful(maybe Pep saw that today). You can't fault his attitude for trying to learn the Pep way of playing either despite his one footedness.
