It may be never.... he'll have Bournemouth Saturday then you can expect stones and vinny back.

Always had a soft spot for the Mang but it just isn't to be!
Yes I can't help but like him. His attitude is first rate. Plus I always rememebr that interview where he talks about his brother. Very humble guy

He's generally very good, strong and quick and his passing is mostly decent.

I've spotted he doesn't like the floated ball over his head, he seems to misjudge it every time. He thinks he can volley it as it comes down and more often than not misses the ball and falls over.

Hope he gets a sustained run until John is fit as he is starting to gain some form and, imo confidence. If he can further improve, we have a good alternative avail in this congested period

As centre backs go he still has substantial youth on his side! Look at the age of the top CBs and when they reached their peak. I think this lad is tailor-made to be a very good CB. As the world's best coach I expect Pep to get him up to that point.

Anybody remember Joe Corrigan's first games, and how he blossomed into a great City keeper?

I know everyone likes him, but I think it's fairly obvious from the reports of us being after VVD/Evans/Martinez that he's not got a long term future here. He's already the 4th choice CB. That would make him 5th choice.

I think he may currently be above Kompany in the pecking order after Pep's post derby comments.

I'd still have a fit Kompany over him in the here and now, however if I was looking to replace one of them in the squad in the transfer market it would be Kompany, sorry skip!

Agreed. We look light at the moment because our only fit, senior CBs are Otamendi and Mangala. Replacing Mangala with whoever doesn't improve that squad depth.
