With his comments about us, I really hope we steer clear of this man.
He's young, young people say stupid things.

He's 23, the same age Aguero was when he joined, he didn't come out with such ridiculous comments.
Aguero has said he'd have joined Real Madrid ahead of us if they'd been in for him at the same time as us.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Again, Mangala's comments are being used against him quite harshly.

He was put on the spot with an A or B question. He said Chelsea but without saying anything bad about City, even saying it was because of location rather than prestige or anything like that.

BTW, if someone put Yaya on the spot 2 months before joining City with a "United or City?" question, are you confident he would have said City?

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Real Madrid is different, everyone dreams of playing for Real Madrid.

We won't go after Mangala after those Chelsea comments.

He is worth about 20m max in my opinion, even then you are still paying for potential.

You can apply that question to the majority of the players we have signed. All that matters is the players mentality and ability, I'm sure some of our current most loyal and important players would have joined that team in Trafford or Chelsea if they were given the chance when we went in for them: Joe Hart, Kompany, Silva, Zabaleta etc.

Exactly. Not one City fan in our entire first team squad and the majority of them wouldn't have had us as their #1 most ideal destination. But they came, grew to love playing here, and give 100%. As Mangala probably would if we signed him. Mangala is also very close to Sagna.

Personally, I favour the idea of Benatia but also think Mangala could be a great signing. And I'm not bothered about how much he could cost if we can afford it within our sanctions, as the money isn't being extracted from my wallet. :-)
