From what I have seen of him so far I wouldn't expect him to start ahead of MDM, sure he has potential but is a long way off the finished article for the amount we are supposedly paying

Manchester City: Porto's Eliaquim Mangala in advanced talks

Manchester City are in advanced talks with Porto to sign France defender Eliaquim Mangala for about £32m.
The 23-year-old came close to joining City in January and the club are hopeful of finalising a move next week.
Mangala played in all five of France's matches at the World Cup, including their quarter-final defeat by Germany.
He began his career with Standard Liege in 2008 when they won the Belgian league and then joined Porto in 2011, winning two Portuguese titles.

Manchester City target Eliaquim Mangala has been spotted leaving Manchester today in a private jet.

It is thought the French international was in town to under go a medical.

Mangala has been a long-term target for the Blues, and was linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium during the January transfer window.

That move failed to materialise, however, and City is reportedly facing competition from Chelsea for the 23-year-old's signature this time around.

What's that NO BYLINE business? Is that like a 2014 version of "That shall not pass"?!

I was just thinking the same, I think it's probably a mistake, like someone sending the picture with that text not to put a byline. Really weird anyway.
