Of course we've fucking signed him. We've just briefed a couple of journos with a bullshit decoy just to make sure things don't get out of hand while Mangala's on his holidays.

Have to laugh. Of course we've flown him in, done a medical, done loads of filming and photos and interviews, but no of course he's not signed yet. You couldn't make it up.

All we've seen is a medical and a short interview with the player after it. The media team pre made that video for when he does sign but don't see why it's beyond the realms of possibility we flew him over, did the medical etc but still not agreed every detail and completed the deal yet. City or Porto have nothing to gain from not making this public so for me it's not a done deal yet.

I think the deal is "done" in the sense that it's not going to fall to pieces at this point.

Just spoken to someone at MCFC about 'Mangala-gate'. Interview conducted ready for deal to be done - but he's not a City player yet!

Well that just about makes it official.

For the doubters something very similar happened last summer with Pellegrini. If I remember rightly a lad on work experience at city said he saw all the pics of Pellers with Txiki on computers as he was walking round the offices about a week before the OS announced it.
