I was thinking it might be all down to third party ownership up until this week being the reason for the delay but I get the feeling now it's because we need to sell a foreigner to get him in.

We potentially have a £10m asset in Garcia but if we announced Mangala now every club knows we will likely be in a bit of a desperation to move him on and no doubt stupid bids of a few million will be coming in I reckon.

I just think the club are holding out for as much as possible with Garcia and once he is moved on we will announce Mangala.

With FFP ever bit of money counts.

This has been posted several times over the last few weeks by more than one poster and is more likely than not true. Rodwell and/or Garcia need agreements to move before we announce Mangala.

Perhaps the club is delaying because Hummels is available for less. Would love it as he is a great player and I would laugh myself silly if we stitched those sharks at Porto.
