no it isn't, you've expressed your opinion in a factual statement, i.e. "it's off", a factual statement informing others that the deal is not going ahead. It doesn't state anywhere that it's only your opinion that it won't go ahead, and therefore people are right to note you down for passing off opinion as fact.
