It's not him that's dragging this along. He did his part he took his medical. It's out of his hands just like Fernando, wait on the side until all of the business/red tape is finished then join the team. There's a reason he's not with Porto training or playing and it's not because he wants to catch more sun in Miami.

Or we could keep Nasty and Rekik to go alongside Kompany and Demichelis and then replace Demichelis next year when his contracts up. I'm worried with Mangala coming in one of Rekik or Nasty will leave, especially as that will leave us with three left footed centre halves. I'd personally love to see the guys at city come through than just throw money at someone. I know I now sound like a rag or a Arsenal fan speaking about our club but who isn't excited about the prospect of Huws, Rekik, Denayer, Lopes, Angelino, Bossaerts, Zuculini and any others that come through.
