The only problem as I see it is Porto. If we thought £34m was too much now, what happens when the PSG idiots are inevitably willing to come straight in with his full £42m release clause up front in the summer?

If it's a straight up shoot-out with both us and PSG agreeing fees with Porto I believe there is no question he will choose us, owing both to the "Premiership" factor (which he recently effusively said he loves), and France's 75% tax rate. He does have a real pirate agent Jorge Mendes, but Jorge has already tried to pack him off to Monaco in the past few months, to which Mangala assuredly said "no".

Lol i know people on here are going to disagree with what im about to say but i genuinly think we should sell kompany to psg or monaco in the summer and buy both hummels and mangala to form the best defensive partneship in football. Dont get me wrong i think kompany is the best defender in the premier league BUT he gets injured WAYYYY too much and when he does it really affects the team and also you have to think we could get around 40mil for him easily from psg or monaco which is a massive profit on what we payed for him. Also like i said we will have one of the best defensive partnerships in football with both of them still being young which gives them time to improve even more..... Lool so what do u lot think agree or disagree??

Hmmm....so we sell our captain and one of the best CBs in the world for 40 mill to get an unproven 22 year old CB at the same price. Sounds pretty right.

Kompany is so much more than just a good player. He is a leader of men, a motivator, an ambassador, an example to others. He is the epitome of what our owners want in a player and captain. He is irreplaceable. He oozes class in his conduct on and off the pitch. He will hopefully finish his playing career at City and eventually go on to be manager, or even one of our executives.
