Can't really compare a Premier League relegation candidate selling an English player to City/Arsenal and the one of the richest clubs in the world selling to most likely a mid-table side, possibly not even in England. Situations are vastly different.

If we can get a permanent deal for him we need to take it regardless of price. He's clearly not in Peps plans so may as well just get him off the wage bill.
Shame as he has looked liked he had the potential but at the same time he was never far away from making a clanger.
Think he's a real confidence player and he's never really had any opportunity to establish a run in the side to obtain that.

He has 18 months left in his contract .. a permanent deal is better for the club! I'd be happy to take 10-15m from Everton today! If Mahrez arrives today, Mangala cant be registered in the UCL if he stays!
