I mean the lad has played 50 games this year, all to probably a 7/10 minimum.I think everyone's gone a bit doolally with this lad. He's a decent passer of a football, and would be a decent addition to most teams, but when the bidding war starts going nearer 120m, then I am out.
In my experience, at every world cup, there is always players that stands out and then all of a sudden everyone wants to sign them instead. That Ederson fella who plays for Brazil, I think people will be thrapping themselves over him. And then some bloke from Mexico or Uruguay. It will happen.
So I think it is best to keep the old power dry on Anderson, until you can see the entire picture.
In terms of utility and dependability, the most Milner-like player is arguably Brighton’s Hinshelwood. If we want someone that can play effectively in a variety of positions, his would be a sensible signing.he resembles Milner alot tho
Genuinely known as one of the things not to do.I think everyone's gone a bit doolally with this lad. He's a decent passer of a football, and would be a decent addition to most teams, but when the bidding war starts going nearer 120m, then I am out.

The only player we’ve ever fallen into the international trap for was Grealish. Olmo was better in the 2024 Euros and we got linked with him after every game yet the rumours were always denied promptly. I think we learned our lesson.I mean the lad has played 50 games this year, all to probably a 7/10 minimum.
Not sure what the World Cup has to do with anything Anderson.
I can't see City falling into the trap that other clubs do when as you say there is a breakout in the World Cup. We will want our business done before any player even gets to the US given we have a pre season starting two weeks after the final.
DId we?The only player we’ve ever fallen into the international trap for was Grealish. Olmo was better in the 2024 Euros and we got linked with him after every game yet the rumours were always denied promptly. I think we learned our lesson.

Poborsky too Martin Dahlin !The worst thing to do is buy someone on the back of a couple of games in a tournament. James Rodriguez anyone? And that Jensen fella who scored his first goal in living memory and the tarquins signed him.
Thing is, if Anderson goes into a bidding war, and it will with Marinakis holding all the cards. It could end up being 125m. And then lets say the rags get Tonali and Tchouaméni for the same money, then who got the better deal done in the end?Pretty sure we will see if the management agree with your approach.
I suspect however that they will have done their due diligence and scouting of him and his performances during the season.
I also suspect that the club will wish to do their business early in order to sort out the arrangements in good time for next season,
Who is the bidding war with?Thing is, if Anderson goes into a bidding war, and it will with Marinakis holding all the cards. It could end up being 125m. And then lets say the rags get Tonali and Tchouaméni for the same money, then who got the better deal done in the end?
Will not be any bidding war involving us. Anderson holds the cards, not Marinakis. He is the one who signs or doesn't sign. If he runs his contract down , Forest get nothing and they cannot afford that.Thing is, if Anderson goes into a bidding war, and it will with Marinakis holding all the cards. It could end up being 125m. And then lets say the rags get Tonali and Tchouaméni for the same money, then who got the better deal done in the end?
El Hadj Diouf beats them all.Dahlin I have spoken to about his days at Rovers there is more to that story. Martin scored 50 goals in 106 games for MönchengladbachPoborsky too Martin Dahlin !
The "better deal" only applies if its the best deal for usThing is, if Anderson goes into a bidding war, and it will with Marinakis holding all the cards. It could end up being 125m. good job managers off thenI completely agree mate. Losing my hair at every game as I watch it.
I refuse to believe that they can't do it, for some reason they do not. Marmoush and Haaland spend the entire game with their hands out asking for passes and our entire defence and midfield see it and turn to face the other way.
If Anderson is the player we want and the club are happy to pay then it’s simple ,us.Thing is, if Anderson goes into a bidding war, and it will with Marinakis holding all the cards. It could end up being 125m. And then lets say the rags get Tonali and Tchouaméni for the same money, then who got the better deal done in the end?
Ahh of course….he scored on his debut, and all the scousers thought they found the new Robbie FowlerEl Hadj Diouf beats them all.Dahlin I have spoken to about his days at Rovers there is more to that story. Martin scored 50 goals in 106 games for Mönchengladbach
