Im not ignoring it, answered it above. Im not against anderson i like him, i watched him closely in the warm up against us and he replicated the goal he got about ten times and then went out on the pitch and reproduced it. He also got over ran alot in the match and they were lucky to get a draw. I am happy for us to sign him but not at 100m plus as he he hasnt done enough to justify it.

So we are better of just to keep buying duds who are proven abroad in the hope we get another kdb whilst falling further and further away from where we where . As did Elliot Anderson if it’s £120 million then so be it because let’s have it right we can afford it quite easily .

I don't think for one minute the club's transfer policy takes into consideration fan opinions, and nor should it. Ridiculous suggestion.

If fan outrage was a thing with transfers, Steve McManaman and Kalvin Phillips would have been nowhere near our club with my displeasure alone.
I was proven right as well on both accounts.
I also didn’t want Nunes but I suppose I’ll hold my hands up and say I was wrong with him. Well, sort of, as he’s now a RB and he certainly wasn’t signed to do that.

I do want Anderson though so I’ll be happy if this gets done.

Not being smart as i genuinely dont know but do we have stats for how many times he gave it away? Really keen to see this. Phillips was a beast at winning possesion back at leeds but then joined a team who at the time had about 70percent of the ball condensed into the oppositions half so his biggest strength was a waste. Granted we need that type of player more now than we did back then.

From what i have seen with anderson he does a lot of things right but also stuff that he will be abs crucified for if he did here like give the ball away cheaply at times.

Didn’t Anderson also rank first for most line breaking passes and successful passes ??

I genuinely don’t think people realise how good this lad is. He’s going to be Champions League team of the season good in a year or two.

This lad is a guaranteed hit imo. Same way Rice was when he left West Ham.

The price will be ridiculous but just get it done as we’ve missed on far too many midfield targets in recent years to haggle over 10/15m.

Poorly worded. Not fan outrage but the idea of him replacing KDB probably was going to put a lot of pressure on him and they probably weren’t sure he was good enough. Also, Marinakis renewed his contract and Viana & Co probably want to maintain good relations with him.

I don't think Forest would permit that unless they are happy with the financial terms offered. The Ornstein tweet said they had rejected the bid but he did make it sound like the transfer was progressing

Well that is very encouraging.

We all realise prices in the transfer market are over-inflated but let's have some perspective. Brighton have placed a transfer fee of £70 million on Van Hecke who is just a carthorse. By comparison Anderson is a 'bargian'

Thing with Marikas character is you don’t take the piss you totally respect him his fee and negotiate the fee close to what he wants not take the piss or he will shut it down straight away! Spurs took the piss with MGW and you saw how Marikas reacted to that! So think it be done for around 95m+15m addons so 110m

Marinakas will play clubs off against each other to drive the fee up. And why wouldn't he. Is is holding all the cards here. They got a penalty for not balancing the books, so he's gonna ride this as far as possible. This will deffo break the British transfer record.

our midfield need huge help even if Rodri stays. if he doesnt haha, it will need lot more than Anderson. while I like Bernardo, he was past his best 2-3 years ago yet had to play almost all games this season too as we didnt properly replace previous players while arrivals in the meantime was just not first 11 worthy.

Anderson ticks lot of boxes, has the power, energy, what we missed a lot. much rather would buy him for a huge fee than another 3x 50m midfielder who are as good as Nico, Phillips, Reijnders.
