Very tidy squad that. I think we can improve on Marmoush though. If this squad was written on a blank sheet of paper, the 'weakness' would be one of central midfield physicality. An injury to Gonzalez and we are very, very short, and not just because Bernardo is exactly that.

Assuming Bobb, Ake, Stones, and Kovacic all move on over the next twelve months, and we do manage to get Semenyo and Anderson, I would imagine that we will look like this. We also have Mukasa, Mfuni, R.Heskey, and McAidoo to come in, but non occupy that central defensive midfield. Gray does, but he is definitely not a physical presence. J.Heskey does, and is, but he is very untested.
Tough gig. Not many top, top players want to play second fiddle, even if it is to the world's number one.Very tidy squad that. I think we can improve on Marmoush though.
everyone can have a laugh, but I knew a lot more players when I was actively playing Football Manager lolI think I must have been living under a rock as I’d never heard of him til the other day!!
I mentioned earlier in the thread he’s reminiscent of Kev.Having watched him and the Wharton quite a bit lately Anderson is miles ahead imho both very tidy on ball but Anderson also has that burst of speed and power like Kev I hope he’s next through door after Semenyo
Yaya, Lampard and Viera, maybe. Keane? No!Yaya, Lampard, Vieira, Keane all streets ahead of him. I would have Fernandinho aahead of him as well. He has everything bar an ability to hold his position. Very similar player to Pogba.
There was a reason England couldn’t fit Lampard and Gerrard in the same team.
