It would seem the majority are - that's enough for me. We wait to see if the same applies to the British. I'm not so sure but I'm a little out of touch with the British psyche, tbh.

My straw poll is extremely limited. I, maybe naively, would like to hope that there are more good people out there than not but I find it hard to fathom how large swathes of populations seem to think these days.

I would hope so but I doubt it. culturally Britain seems to mirror the US albeit a few years later.

I suspect that we will go down the same slippery path as seems to be happening on your side of the pond.

I have a muppet at work who seems to have drunk the Kool-aid for years. Nothing, and I mean nothing Musk does is 'wrong', it's all 'brilliant' and factually correct.

For anyone who thinks DOGE has cut spending, this article is from July, and shows they've actually done <1% of the claimed 'savings' based on the data they published on their own website.
