Well, I always preferred Eddie Cochran. But I grew up with Elvis records (courtesy of my maternal Aunt and Uncle) and I think this is quite the dogs bollocks. ;-)

tbh, im not old enough to have listened to them a lot when they where around, and iv not seen a listened to a lot of either of them

but from what i'v seen, i'd say they are both great performers, i think berry has to be one of the coolest guys in music

I'm alive and well thanks. Currently living in North Manchester. My favourite song is 'Don't' at the moment but I also like 'Love Letters' and 'Just Can't Help Believin'

I have now left the thread.
 
Guitar Man is him at his best and most Elvis for me.

I'll admit to liking If I Can Dream as well, it has a line about 'birds flying higher in a sky MORE BLUE' and that's cool babyo, things should be more blue.

I'm just pulling on my jumpsuit, my backing singers are ready to give it the full dog.

Seriously - I think he is a great performer. Never tire of watching "That's The Way It Is" and the "Comeback Special" DVD's.

Now got "You ain't nothing but a houn' dog..." going through my brain.
