Don't forget also they would potentially be stopping Villa clinching the 4th place. That should be enough reason for doing everthing they can to help out

Fulop for me, kept the most expensive British keeper in history out of the squad for much of the season. A good pro that can get the job done.

Manchester City will be given special dispensation to sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal until the end of the season, BBC Sport understands. Shay Given will miss City's last three games after dislocating a shoulder in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Saturday.

2. This is quite harsh on Gunnar who thought he might get his chance.
