For once! I really really hope you've got the inside info right on this.

Yeah, forgot we didn't sack Mark Hughes and appoint Mancini as boss, couple hours after I had posted it on here.

Or that we were signing Joleon Lescott.

Or that City were angry about the bullshit £1bn investment announcement

Or that there would be a £200 season ticket next season.

Or that we had pulled out of the Eto'o deal.

Or that we were signing Kolo Toure

Or that we had bid to sign Fabian Delph.

I can see where I have attempted gone wrong.

They have been talking about Hart since this morning. As long as the permission is in place, it comes down to a simple question of money.
I meant over and ABOVE all the other things you got right TH :)

Its such a bizarre thing that only a few days ago Hart was keeping for Birmingham and in a week in a few days he could be facing Villa for the second time in a week but for a different side. Yep typical city season :)

I take it your not a City fan with statements like that.

Well, I have always had some sympathy for City and know everything about Lee/Bell/Summerbee/Corrigan and all that stuff but I am not a City fan - but Gunnar's personal fan and support any team he plays.

And what odds on Villa getting another penalty... Milner steps up again... Joe saves!

Joe Hart - hail the returning hero!

Just informed the deal is firmly on, just a question of money.

Joe has said yes and million quid should do it (basically the loan fee and wages they have spent so far this season)

A small price to pay considering what is at stake.

England's England's No.1.

Please please please tell me that we did not agree to any kind of stupid deal that would see Joe Hart loaned out to Birmingham again next season?

I was thinking the same thing all day.

Sorry mate, was just pissed, because someone else posted that even if it comes off, I was still wrong.

I have no sway over McLeish - baconface is probably on the phone right now trying to KO it for us!

My own take is that for £1m, maybe a couple of possible loan options for likes of Santa/Ned etc, a really small price to pay.

To be fair to Joe, he doesn't really have a say in all this. He will do what he is told.

He is hardly going to turn down his parent club if Brum leave decision to him. That would be professional suicide.

For the sake of the ongoing argument/thread.

My own opinion is that Joe can make his claim for England starter at the World Cup if he is able to demonstrate his big game temperament in such big topic fixtures.

-- Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:14 am --

I don't know on this score.

But I would doubt it very much. Shay will almost certainly miss the start of the new season and Joe will be our No.1.

He has the chance to keep Shay out for a very long time to come.

WHAT!? we've got to pay to bring our own keeper back? well ill be truly fucked off if we let him go back to brum next year after this!

Seems fair enough to me, both sides agreed on a season long loan, probably with legaly-binding contracts and stuff. If we want to rip up that agreement then we should repay some of monetary gain we got from it.

How I read it basically is that we're paying for them to cancel the loan in effect so he returns to his parent company. To be honest people who kick up a fuss about us paying for him to come back if he does then he'll pay for himself through the victories he will help us achieve won't he?

If he's the difference between Champions League and Europa League qualification do you really care considering our financial circumstances?
