Empty seats at the swamp - best rag excuse ever

Apparantly the reason for the poor support and empty seats at the swamp more than 10 minutes from time on Saturday when Liverpool hammered the rags 4-1 was - from the mouth of a rag supporter I know that has a season ticket

"The game was such a crowd puller that everybody wanted to see - the premier league, european & world champions against Liverpool. When we got to the ground there were blokes holding up placards offering united fans £200 for their tickets - half of us sold them & watched the game in the pub. That's why it was half empty near the end - cos they weren't proper fans - we were in the pub."

He told everybody at work yesterday and seemed quite proud of it - unfuckingbelievable.
