No trophies have been one yet. But I think we should make it clear to Manchester and Manchester City that we would like to mark the end of this season with an event in Manchester, maybe with added significiance given the past year. Invite some wider people with a manchester connection, and maybe a healthworker or too to take the applause on behalf of all. A moment to remember. A moment to think of others. An event to thank the players. And something hopeful.

When we look back at this season and it hopefully end with Manchester City as Champions, I would like a communal event where City win the trophy that I can carry with me.

I would like City fans to support this idea so MCFC and MCC know the importance of this.

I am sorry I deleted the original subject about making it a Manchester (even Utd event) because I thought this subject was too important for that. Please take this P'ss about that. That's fine. But please can we also stress the importance of having one end of season event in Manchester?

Last time we came together with them was for the victims of bombing.

Only to see their players singing anti City songs a day later. Never forget what utter dirtbags they were. Lingard showed himself as a small time **** that day.

And if you wish to forget that, just remember they and their cartel put a gun to our head LAST WEEK.

Only if we can at the same time display the champions league, premiership & carabo trophy to the Manchester community.

This might be a complete barmpot of an idea but do you think it would be a nice thing for Manchester CIty and Manchester Utd players and staff and CIty and Utd fans to come together in the CIty somewhere to thank each other for sustaining us all through this long dark year? It would a statement for the CIty of Manchester that we value our football and that we have more in common with each other than we have against each other, and a statement of hope for the future. We are after all often members of the same football family and often the same families and each of us may indeed have something to celebrate at the end of this season.

I also feel grateful to my football team for giving me positive energy over the last year. Manchester has had a bad time like we all have but in the height of Summer with most people vaccinated, and the worst of Covid behind us hopefully, wouldn't it be nice to come together?

We could also at the same time pay respect to the friends we have lost, and all the workers who have helped us. I think we need something like this.

If not together, we do it as Manchester City with Manchester. I think it would be safe now? Thoughts? Could this be done? Is it important for you?
No, they are not a Manchester club, let them celebrate in Trafford.

I agree, and some would lower the tone even further by singing Munich songs, something that decent blues don't want to associate with . Also alcohol fuelled football rivalry is always a powder keg situation waiting to blow, especially after lockdown when '10 sniffs of a barmaids apron' mentality will kick in and kick off amongst those that can't drink but like to act 10 men on sniff.

Great idea in theory, coming together on an ideal sunny day in friendly atmosphere, but i very much doubt that be happening anytime soon.
