For me Pelligrini has been a disaster for this club, he took a team with a real winning mentality built by Mancini over 2-3 years, into a team that appears demoralized and lacking in fight.

The further we get away from Bobby's turgid last season, the more of a triumph it becomes. I've got such fond memories of finishing bottom of our CL group, winning nothing, watching a team of players with no respect for the manager going through the motion whilst said manager was scrapping with his players on the training pitch when he wasn't sat in press conferences trying to fight the entire board.

Yeah we've taken a massive backwards step from there.

FFS.. both he, the players and the fans knew he was getting sacked in the morning. Hardly conducive to a good performance.

Look Mancini took a team that while well funded had won nothing for over 30 years and not won the league for over 40. He steadily improved the team in his first year, broke the trophy hoodoo the next and his second full season won the league. The next year I admit was poor and the reasons have been done to death on here.

Pellegrini took over a team that had already won the biggest prizes in English football. Again well funded and I won´t discredit him by saying it was Mancini´s team. With Negredo et al we played some great stuff. But since then despite more money spent domestically we have been very poor, and being honest it´s only the CL run this season that bestows any credit on either him or the players.

Another one of Pellegrini's qualities; how many times have City been in the press these last three years regarding players falling out, fighting at training, players slagging the manager, manager slagging the players and even on live tv, players moaning about not playing, wanting to leave or broken promises? None.
