End of World , Bluedoom !!

I think this forum was missing another new thread, from a member complaining about blues being negative. Being negative about the negatives. Up the negatives

I’ve been reading through the Blue’m and Doom Posts, dear me , 68 years I’ve following City , it’s laughable ,
27 games to go , 5 points adrift of the Dipoers at the mo, players on the come back ,
There does appear to be a lack of adherence from far to many supporters,
far to many taking a leaf out of Moose’s book !!

I hate evra with passion

Interestingly I didn't feel any negative at the end of the Brighton game. In fact lots near me ( and me ) were singing and dancing Rodri un-fire as the annoying blasted that out. The Brighton fans looked confused lol.

I thing perhaps match going fans have a different view to non match going fans. I love the matchday win lose or draw. Meeting up with mates, the car journey, the pints and a good singalong.
The first mr k introduced me to city in 1979 , we were so crap in the ten years or so i went then but we used to get the train from plymouth , early start , arrive , get pissed with mates , watch the game , slept all the way home overnight , wouldnt change it for a thing , you cannot beat weekends like that every two weeks or so

Might as well merge them all, they’re all the same thread.

I'm not sure which threads irritate me the most.

The knee jerk flappers who surface after every defeat, or the "we always start slowly" blind faith posters who constantly belittle anyone who dares suggest that we might not be quite as good as previous seasons

In the real world it's not a binary choice. We are allowed to be concerned about the second half performances in Lisbon and Brighton yet still positive about the future.
We are also allowed to be concerned about the future as we discuss where we’re heading. Even if Pep signs that one year extension, it only kicks the can 12 months down the line for the same discussion because our squad isn’t what it was in 2018. There is going to be a huge overhaul to this squad over the next few years and it could very easily go either way with how good our signings have been or our lack of signings of late.

People just got used to everyone being positive because we kept winning, that now things don’t quite look as good for us as they did previously, people mostly rightfully air concerns (ignore the ones who go over the top) about where we’re heading, and some aren’t used to the fanbase not all skipping through the field throwing flower petals in the air.

Nothing wrong with that kind of discussion. It’s actually more interesting than, ‘we’re fucking mint us aren’t we?!’. It’s more down to Earth and brings us down a peg or two, which is never a bad thing.
