Same, thursday and Friday at the real Old Trafford the ODI in Malahide and hopefully at least one of the ODI's at Clontarf against Pakistan (might take in some of the match against the Aussie A team and thinking about spending a day or two at the mates in Londonderry to see the T20 games against Bangladesh in Bready

I don't get Compton place in the team he looks average to me! That ball then a top batsman would of left that it missing the stumps by miles

He didnt get forward enough really, half hearted defense, Boycott will be having kittens already... he deserves a go because he battled hard in India, but i would rather Root be up there and Bairstow in lower down, get them bedded in and playing before the summer.

Joe Root is an opening batsman, Joe Root is a young and talented batsman. Nick Compton is 29 and has done nothing as yet to prove he's up to the pressure of tests let alone an Ashes series.
