After hearing an interview the other day I reckoned that Lallana is a Friend of Dorothy.

Whoever it is good luck to them. They deserve respect (unless they've had to do it before someone kiss and tells on them).

But they wouldn't need to- if they had kept their sexuality private all they would have to do is bring an action for tort of misuse of private information and any newspapers who had come to such knowledge would be prevented from doing so.

Photographs hold power - surely must be some pictures that will reveal things and they've been ransomed. I can't see how any player would decide to do that - they should be able to but even in this day and age it will make their life so much more difficult.

Still subject to any gagging order. More restrictive in fact, once information is reported it can be reported over and over again, but photos (especially those of a sexual nature) can be prevented from being used again.

Whoever the gay footballers, if they don't want to hide anymore, shouldn't bother announcing it, just live your life in the open. People will notice and most won't really care. Why make it a big fucking media circus event? It'll only attract more attention and reinforce the 'this is not normal' view.
