Smalling? Caulker? Cole? Cleverley? Milner? Townsend? Defoe?

baffling...

Dawson has been awful this season, Osman isn't a regular for Everton, Lennon is poor, Gibbs isn't better than Shaw, Baines or Cole. Rose is the only one who has a case, possibly a bit better than Shaw atm.

I guarantee 100% if Lescott was a rag he'd be in that squad. Hodgson's boner for United and Liverpool players is disgusting.

The big question is... will this squad sell tickets for the Wembley Friendly?

If it does, and it also improves ITV's advertising revenue then the squad is perfect.

Who cares about the fans and the result?
$ooney will get the audience.

now, I will drive in my Vauxhall buy a McDonald's, also buy some Budweisers aswell. Fancy a Mars bar too.

The selection of Cleverly just goes to show that form counts for nothing and it is all about who you play for. There are many others who not only are playing better than him at the moment, but I doubt have ever played as badly as he has this season. Barry, Huddlestone and Noble are names that come to mind but I'm sure there are others.

Just how poorly does he have to play not to warrant selection for the squad?

When he gets run over by a steamroller, so long as he is at Woys favourite league club he could have a wooden leg, a glass eye and a bad dose of cat aids and he will get selected

Caulker and Smalling have been better than Dawson? Osman has started around the same plus Roy named a 30 man squad and only 3 centre halfs, he should have been in there.
Osman has started 19 of 27 games for Everton with 7 subs appearances (26 in total. More than Barkley with 18 starts, 5 subs.
Lennon is playing regularly for the 5th best side in the league, Townsend isn't.
Gibbs isn't better than Cole but he's playing regularly against the best in the Prem and Champs League, Cole is not...

ps I'd have had Crouch (6), Carlton Cole (6) or Danny Ings in ahead of Defoe aswell...
