England U21s

Poor Sturridge an unused sub now fell behind Andy Carroll,Hines and Wellbeck. Great move eh, well 60k a week softens the blow I suppose.

Not a bad gig......if you can get it!

How many times has he played for the Chelski first team so far? It would be interesting to compare how many hours of first team football he's had for them as compared to his appearances for us over the same period last season.

I've seen you singing Carrol's praises before de niro and you always get loads of stick for it. I'm gonna agree with you mate, if he keeps his head down and works hard there's no reason why he could become England number 9 if you like one day. He's a good old fashioned centre forward - tall, strong, good in the air, agressive, decent feet. Good youn, English player.

Yeah I'd rather he stayed and fought for his place, but he went to Chelsea thinking he was the next best thing. His head is to big and the people around him don't help. I could accept if he went to Fulham or Birmingham for example for 1st team football. Ancolotti didnt even know who he was, it was that frank Arnsen who taps up every half decent youngster coming through other teams ranks.
