This Rashford praise and ridiculous Sterling criticism is sickening.

They have both played on the same level yet apparently Rashford looks "the more complete player".

Sterling looks a miles better player to me. Rashford looks like a kid from someone's reserve team playing for England.

Henderson/Drinkwater is not exactly Xavi/Iniesta would be my conclusion from this half.

I can honestly see promising qualities in Rashford, so I wouldn't put Sterling miles better on this showing.

That said, I think Sterling has played well and of course doesn't deserve the constant negative comments. Ironically his development may be hindered and he may not live up to his immense potential if he keeps getting this sort of vitriolic criticism. I think he is actually a fairly mentally strong player but a person can only stand being publicly derided so much and so long before it affects you, regardless of your grit.
