my concern is it means a complete lack of creative players. No foden, mount or Grealish would be ridiculous

That’s the point for me, if you play three centre backs you have to drop of one of those players.

Walker, Slabhead, Stones and Shaw is more than good enough imo.

they do it with every player. Grealish was the second coming of Jesus for a few weeks

It should be a 3-4-3 with Walker right CB, Henderson and Rice in midfield, Saka and Shaw as WBs. Having someone with serious pace overlapping Foden on the right will bring out the best in him.
