England's problem has always been players that are deemed undroppable. Rice Pickford and Bellingham spring to mind. Bellingham has just scored to paper over the cracks but he's shite and not a team player.

We are not blinded by hate - he is not a team player. England look shit with him in. Last few internationals he sat out were better.

Grealish in the 10 - despite it not being his usual position, despite his poor goalscoring record - meant having an actual selfless team-player in the role, facilitating getting the whole team forward. And Jack's not the only one who can bring those qualities.
