He is just a useless manager, got very lucky with the England job, a yes man, and benefited from piss easy qualifying groups and somehow came out a national hero for reaching the semi finals, again with an easy group and run and lost to any half decent team and beat who you would expect to beat.

My 'simulated' games on PES finished first as a 2-0 loss and in the second time of trying a 3-3 draw.

So yeah it probably was more exciting but even more frustrating than the real thing!
