The middle doesn't exist. There's a huge fucking gap there any time any of the defenders have the ball. I'd honestly be tempted to play Foden in the 8 position at this point, just to have someone in there who can receive the ball, turn and play a forward pass, because Rice, Gallagher and Bellingham have been nowhere near it.

I’ve had none City fans saying you can’t play Foden and Bellingham both in the middle because they’d get in each other’s way!
