You need to look at the characteristics and abilities and not how much game time a player gets.

In terms of technical ability, dribbling, passing, creativity, etc. Foden is head and shoulders above any of the mentioned above.

ok I don't really care about England never had done , as a kid it just seem to be players pick for who they played for and not on talent. My worry about give Foden match time for England is he wont be playing with the same class of player that he does at City. So being a City player the press would go after him the same as they do Sterling. Foden is young and being put into this England might not be the best for him at this stage of his career. If it doesn't go well the press will slaughter him.....on the other hand he might be great and would see the runs of Sterling and start proving Sterling with the passes his runs at City get.....so both players win !!!!

We can only face who we go against. Getting to a World Cup semi final was tremendous achievement considering ‘Southgate is a fraud’ and pretty much every player is ‘utter sh*t’ ... If City win the FA Cup should we nit pick there route and put a negative spin on it all ? What’s the point in that. You meant to support your club/country no mater if there sh*t or not and enjoy the good times - because as a fan they don’t usually come round much (city aside)

Foden is head and shoulders above when he’s playing against boys. He MIGHT be head and shoulders above when playing against men but, in truth, we’ve got no real idea. Given the competition for places you highlighted, he’s probably as well leaving for a couple of seasons, so we can find out.

Young bunch of lads just returned from getting to the semi final of a World Cup and it’s back to the barrage of constant moaning and abuse - cant ‘fans’ just get behind them whether we’re sh*t or not ? It’s how you progress and where you get. A young bunch of lads which had ‘no hope’ of getting anywhere near the final, written off that we wouldn’t even get out our group got to a semi final of a World Cup. The nation lapped it up and rightly so, pubs, bars up and down the land celebrating - yet the moaners behind the keyboards stayed silent, they must of been so relived we got knocked out and didn’t make the final.
