Can I just pop in and respectfully say fuck all yall until tomorrow? We didnt cross the god damned Delaware just to lose to Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. We have a couple players that can match the English and a lot more grit so lets shake it up and see what comes out.
A lot has changed for both of us since 2010. feels like we're both much better but you all have gone up a different notch. Anything can happen though and the better team seems to win only sometimes so I guess we shall see
We should have beaten you in 2010 but we had a disastrous tournament and you deserved the draw. Football continues to grow in the US and you have players at a much higher level than before. Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, McKennie and then the lads at Leeds and Fulham etc. It's a decent squad. It was surprising how much the introduction of Kiefer Moore changed the game the other night. Put bluntly you shit yourselves and completely lost your way. Maybe that was first game nerves and you sat back on the lead a bit too much, who knows. More at stake in this one for you, so you'll have to come out and attack and you can cause England problems.
England rarely (if ever?) win all of our group games. We lost the dead rubber to Belgium in 2018 which actually gave us a better route to the final as group runners up. Scotland then beat us 0-0 in the Euros (that's how they celebrated it).
Having said that, I can't see anything other than a comfortable England win. But you'll defo step your game up against us. Imagine beating England on Black Friday. That's something every American would dream of. Buy a new TV then watch the US soccer ballers beat the British.
