Shame Nico hasn’t made his debut. I was hoping he get some minutes tonight. Can’t see it happening Tuesday but still good experience for him
Hopefully we batter Latvia and he can get on for 15 mins or so. Otherwise it goes from quite a big achievement to quite a big disappointment, making the squad but not winning a cap.

Little end product though. Better for Newcastle than England.

It was exciting till the third went in.
The first half was decent, we should have scored more. The second half was a waste of time. Wales obviously went for damage limitation and we took our foot off the gas.

Each to their own mate. Although one sided and Wales looking poor, England looked great in the first half. Fast, incisive, threatening and scored three goals. Second half was damage limitation for Wales and England not needing to bust a gut.
As much as England frustrate me and have over the years fallen short, it's still our national side so I will always watch them play to see how we're doing. A bit like when we weren't very good, we'd moan like fuck but still go back again next week.
