Any fuker really bother watching England internationals?
I will have it on as background noise if I'm in the kitchen/ ironing etc. But I'm not a supporter as such, I'm more for making sure our boys don't get injured or listening to the commentary blowing smoke up Tront, Jude, Slabhead, Sir Harry of Kane etc. Makes me laugh because such a contrast to the disrespect our boys get. And I am still amazed that Pickford is considered England's best gk...

The football the national team play though is dire!!

Nope! I had no idea they were playing. I'm even less interested because it's a friendly.
Instead I shall continue with Netflix and watch Ed Gein (but even that has turned out to be garbage. I can understand them tweaking a few things here and there, dramatic licence and all that, but it's about as near to reality as an episode of Peppa Pig is).

Up to episode 3 of Ed Gein, still undecided…

Used to really enjoy the Home International matches. However then, most of the top English League players were British. Most successful teams had a couple of Scots
They had a real edge, with club teammates playing against each other.
But, as for example, City's current team shows, there are no Scottish/Welsh or Irish players in the squad. So no dressing room rivalry to provide the extra spice.
The new Nations League provides a better or more relevant level of "friendlies", in my opinion.
Saying that, cannot understand why England have chosen Wales as an opponent tonight ?
For Welsh fans, it will be a big game with a large away following.
But, England have little to gain from this fixture...

I will be watching The Celebrity Traitors instead :0)

Much more entertaining :0)
I can't bring myself to watch anything that starts with celebrity, with celebrity quiz shows being the worst they get questions my 6 year old can answer.

I tend to get my arse handed to me by teenage virgins who haven't seen daylight on call of duty these days than watch TV.:)

I always used to laugh when England managers of the past used to say: "We're using this friendly to experiment and try out a few different things." Then they'd go and pick the exact same starting eleven they use in every other game, same formation and tactics, and I'd think 'So where's the experimentation? You know what the centre back is like because you pick him for every game. You know what the keeper can do because he's also a regular first-teamer for you.'

They probably had orders from above to guarantee certain players (from the red cartel) were given some match time.

In a pivotal part of the PL season when teams are jostling for position, let's play a 'friendly' against a nation with an in-built, pathological hatred for England. What's the worst that could happen?.....
