Did Ghana just win the World Cup?

That celebration over nothing but an equaliser goes right up with the Rooney celebrating like he won the Universe and Infinity Cup in the semi apart from this game ment nothing!!

The celebration was about Ghana being HUGE underdogs. They don't have the facilities England do and are classed very much Third Tier football.

A touch of class brings the equaliser, not a miss kick, and you become a hater.

Whatever, man.

Lescott wasn't tight enough and got owned. Shame because he'd done quite well until then. Maybe he'll learn for the weekend.

Nice to see Desailly jumping on the Ghana bandwagon. "we love our Gyan" etc etc.

And played some good football and created plenty of chances, it was a cracking game for a friendly. England weren't exactly shy with the tackles either.

It was more like the moaning and moving the free kick asking for a red card for Milner after there player had almost kicked Milners head off followed by another guy trying to remove Cahills lower leg. Then diving, but obviously its Ghana so we have to lie about them

WTF are you on about? They played well in a very entertaining match. Yes there were plenty of full-blooded challenges but it all added to the excitement. Better than watching the usual England friendlies where both treams stroll around doing fuck all for 90 minutes.

A lot of England fans on Twitter etc. are bashing Lescott ruthlessly for the constant fouling on Gyan then letting Gyan past him for the goal.

Kompany on Gyan this Sunday then.

No i didnt become one i have never gotta into this HYPE of Ghana. We played a 2nd string team, they moaned we didnt show them any respect and then celebrate like they just scored the winner against Spain in the WC final when they equalise

They are not underdogs anymore, they are ranked 16th in the world

Great game,Ghana are a credit to the game.

Gyan is superb, never say die attitude to match the ability - I would love to see him in our shirt.

From tonight it's obvious where Milner is most effective,a shame Mancini chooses to ignore it.

And why are they 16th?? Because of their performance in the World cup. This is their first game against England in underlining that factor.

Don't you get it??

Sometimes when someone scores a classy goal like that you can't really blame anyone. Yes Lescott was the one he got past but there wasn't much he could've done about it. The same as I wouldn't blame Kompany if Messi rang rings around him. Even average players can pull off brilliant moments.

England hammered in the last 16, Ghana one penalty kick away from the SF after beating the team (USA) which won the group containing England.

England playing a 2nd string. 1-1 hardly a massive surprise. Germany got beat at home 2-1 off Australia after being 1-0 up. That's a massive surprise.

Hopefully Gyan & Mensah will be on the piss and using up lots of energy all night in the smoke, celebrating the draw. Turn up at our place on Sunday worse for wear, with a bit of luck.
