England vs Switzerland.

As I said, not biased at all. Great effort from Bent. Just over, not many strikers would even have the confidence to attempt a shot from there, what a man.

;)

HE'S NOT ON THE BENCH!

Sorry, but you have no idea how many times I've had to repeat that.
Now that is a fucking joke, sums it all up for me, no Johnson, and there is a prime example why Bent will never be top draw, blasting over when it matters
Johnson hasn't been the same since he was injured.
I think we've seen plenty enough examples at this point to safely say that (with exceptions) it takes several months after being declared fit to get that kind of injury behind you. Better to break than damage ligaments.

Time to call up Sturridge perhaps, worth 1m to City when he's capped too.

I don't understand why he wasn't to be honest. He adds something different to other English strikers, you know... like goals.

True, but as an impact player he has done well for us this season, would probably do the same for England and is probably the best winger England have when it comes to 1 on 1 situations

The BBC even said it :-)
1813: Ouch. A big chance comes and goes for England. Darren Bent feeds Ashley Young, who runs at the heart of the Swiss defence and sees his low shot parried by Diego Benaglio. The loose ball falls for Bent, who will surely score... but he somehow lifts his shot over the bar with the goal gaping. Harry Redknapp's wife Sandra would have buried that.

love how they just copy me!
