Going to put my pennyworth in here and my personal view is they can stick Engerland up their collective arse. The amount of times I got giddy with England whilst gods own team where shite I can count on a stoke city’s fan fingers. But joking apart I prefer to watch prem games then watch the distraction of international games that we are involved with and to me it’s mostly lower lg flags you see festooned at wembley and abroad because it’s a release from being the fans having to put up with their lot in life.

I’d rather spend 100 million on a player that’s of use than 40 on a player that is no use at all. Phillips hasn’t been labelled shit because he came to us, he really is shit which is clear to Pep and the fans. Rice, although not displacing Rodri, would have made good cover for him. Instead we’re likely going to make a loss on Phillips and have to spend more on another because he’s that bad.
