no one has suggested just play them coz they are English. It has now become a stereotypical view that English players aren't as good or ad technically as good, but there are players who are very technically gifted and are as good, players like Wilshire and Barkley are fantastic tehnically.

The league needs more English players and needs to stop neglecting youg players, ten years ago Germany were in the same position, they focused young talent now have players like goetze and draxler. If we didn't have any English players like hart or Richards who are good enough then it wouldn't feel like city imo we need more young English players

To be honest FFP is going to restrict the number of English players. I don't think the powers that be have really thought this thing through. So worried about keeping the old guard of superpowers in "their" spots they've not really thought about what this is going to do to the rest of the clubs and if they go bankrupt the'll drag everyone else with them. There are a lot of clubs who are financing their clubs for 5-6 years solely based on the selling of a couple top players avery few years. How are Porto, Benfica etc.. going to finance themselves without being able to sell Hulk/Witsel for 50mil? Those deals keep those clubs running as elite clubs for the next 5-10 years. Teams are going to have to look for bargins and English players of equal skill level cost double. We're going to see more French and Spanish players coming in. Those smaller clubs who've been financing themselves on selling those young talented English players aeren't going to get as much so they are going to find it harder and harder to stay in the Black.
