with the potential sale of adam johnson and maybe milner ( hope not) we have to maintain the english quota with probably a few more english players.

which english players would you like us to buy, id go with sturridge

They don't have to be English to be home grown, there is no 'English' quota - but i know what you're saying. Gareth Bale is home grown.....

Why do people think milner will leave, guidetti and weiss will return next season so they will count as homegrown.
Milner wants games probably mate. Don't think Weiss is in bobbys plans either.

Milner will be here next season and if johnson leaves weiss will probably stay.

I hope Milner will still be here mate! A real grafter and top pro.

Nathan Redmond (18) from Birmingham, winger (39 first team appearances)
Nick Powell (18) from Crewe, midfielder (61 first team appearances)
Nathaniel Clyne (21) from Crystal Palace, right-back (138 first team appearances)

All very good at their level, young, full of potential, and probable future England internationals. The rags are trying to get the latter two. Only Clyne could be registered as homegrown though as it's 21 and above.

Don't think Milner will leave. He isn't getting much game time because we are playing once a week and going hard for the title.

Johnson, i hope he leaves.

Kelly from Liverpool plays rightback and can/will become a CB. He is better than Boyata and Savic.

Redmond ? Is he anygood? Don't mean for now I mean for the ffuture?

He's amazing for his age and similar to Oxlade-Chamberlain although maybe a notch below Oxlade-Chamberlain at the moment. He has huge potential, we all know how a lot of English wingers turn out (headless chickens) but I think he could turn out better than that.

What about that Wilfried Zaha (Sp) from Crystal Palace?
Think hes from the Ivory coast but plays for england U21's?

Was just going to mention Clyne great player Micah 2.0 and available on a free transfer.

Nick Powell, He can be as good as Gerrard(before anyone says "but hes a striker" His crossfield passes remind me of Stevie G! Infact everything about him reminds me of Stevie G!).

Redmond. Can be as good as Oxlade-Chamberlin at Arsenal.

@LoveCity, according to the ragcafe Clyne has signed for them.Plus we have Zaba and Richards.

Anyone saying Zaha is just going of hype.He makes Walcott look like Henry.

Johnson is a good player, and if he leaves, it will be coz he doesn't get enough playing time. As we get more unified as a team, Johnson will become much more consistent. I for one would rather move him to the left wing permanently whenever he plays.
