In reality there are plenty of decent United fans, I count many as close friends of mine, but because they have such a large fan base, the percentage of knob heads is larger than any other club, the other problem many of them have is they think they have a divine right to win (whatever way by fair means or foul) this makes them arrogant

Ask my sky remote...smashed to pieces. Then spent the night fixing it and manually changing channels on the box for people

About right.

This ^^^

However, I am going to be controversial by saying that some City fans I have known for years, have, this season, been guilty of falling into the same bracket of the sad rag arrogance, I hope this isn't a trait the majority adopt going forward as City fans have a reputation of being dignified in battle even if it meant coming up short.

I love Ragcafe. Some of them are quite knowledgeable and even reasonable but what really makes me laugh is the many comments such as "feel sorry for the Manchester-based reds" and "the locals".

Priceless. And apparently, we all live in Stockport.

P.S. Not so knowledgeable about tonight's parade though: BBC says 100,000, Ragcafe says 12,000. This from a bunch of fans who numbered in the 100s last year when they had their microparade and rags were up to one deep on Deansgate! I just love their denial/revisionism.

F*** 'em, they're finished...

They are shitting it already about next season!!

We know City are going to spend fortunes, pay stupid money and silly salaries. We know that happens. We can't do anything about that," the Scot told MUTV.

"We are not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We invest in players who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club and the excitement for our fans.

"We are good at that and we are going to continue that way."

Ferguson confirmed he already had some targets in mind, which are believed to include Borussia Dortmund duo Shinji Kagawa and Robert Lewandowski.

However, he insisted there was no requirement for a rebuilding job, as so many have suggested.

"We have set out our stall for certain players and we want to make sure the evolution continues at United," said Ferguson.

"I have been at the club for 25 years and I have to maintain a certain standard that keeps us there all the time.

"We don't always win it because we are always there, which is great credit to how we view things. But there is nothing materially wrong with us. I know there are some critics but we got 89 points."

Earlier chief executive David Gill had insisted cash was available for Ferguson to invest in his squad.

"Funds are available without a doubt," he said.

"We can still pay very well in terms of wages and transfer fees. Clearly City have raised the bar again. We have seen that with what they are prepared to pay for players and to them.

"But we need to move on. Financial Fair Play is just around the corner.

"It is a flagship programme for Michel Platini and how that is implemented and the sanctions that are imposed are going to be interesting."

What a bunch of bitter wankers. That last one sounds like a threat to Platini......from one of the biggies as well, so he'll have to listen. Problem is though that we're now Champions of England, so they'll have to listen to us as well.

Quite funny that the poster has asked the local rags to describe what it was like in Manchester. 4 pages in and he's still not got an answer!

I also note their aggression has been taken out on their ipads. Just not cricket that!

Sounds laudable. I wonder how the purchase of the non-footballer Bébé (whose transfer is currently the subject of a police investigation) fits into this grand vision?

"It is a flagship programme for Michel Platini and how that is implemented and the sanctions that are imposed are going to be interesting."

Shit stop the world I want to get off, highest paid transfer fee for a teenager, oh that would be the scum, highest paid transfer fee for a defender oh wait its the scum again, highest transfer fee paid for a keeper oh no the award goes to the scum again. Premier league fees by the way before anyone wants to say not true, but now big bad city come along and actually buy players and pay them a salary. Because everyone knows there players play for free and just to pull on the shirt. What bitter people they are .

This one is priceless !!

Here's the worst part. When City went 2-1 down I stuck a sweetener bed of £100 on them to win the league at 13/8, which would bag me £260. After the game I was wondering why the money hadn't come through. Then I realised I'd stuck it on season 2012/13 instead! Who'd have thought the top selection when you hit Premier League on the Skybet website would be for next fucking season! Had a chat with the Skybet online chat guy there today and explained what happened. Thankfully he refunded the bet.
