So what you all upto with the little ones over Christmas, we’ve got our 3 year old grandson for a few days and looking for ideas
We’re so far booked in to see Aladdin at Victoria halls Bolton , been a few times for pantos there and for £9:50 it’s a well worth and the kids love it
Also going to Santa live ! At Albert halls Bolton , interactive song and dance with Santa and his elves

I see that Michael Barrymore is making a comeback in panto this festive season. He's doing Aladdin.

It's a few years since our last was that age but you can go ice skating in Manchester and the young ones can have a walker to help them. Also the markets have some decent chocolate etc.

Christmas Fairs at local churches/schools etc were usually good to see Father Christmas too.

We took our lad to the Chill Factory to go on the slides which was good.

There's the East Lancs railway in Bury which my nephew loved.

Other ideas could be going swimming to burn off some energy! All kids love soft plays as well. Oldham have a brilliant Clip n Climb at Summit Up which is superb and might be good too! They also have Christmas events on as well.

Hope it helps!

Anyone done the twilight trail at the mayfield depot in previous years , worth the ride out ?

We did it a couple of weeks ago and we've done it last year too. We thought it was very good. The lights are great and the playground is also open for the kids as well. Not sure how much it cost but overall it was very good!
