Enzo Maresca

I thought the days of grammar police was long gone.

I read your comment and think you are in all likelihood wrong.
Not talking about commas in your grammar, but in the regulation.

Two very different meanings with and without a comma.

The club would not have approached him with the intent of offering him employment without his other clubs consent. It is the intent that is the the key part there.

Meresca it seems had a clause in his contract that if he or his representatives had meetings with another club took place he was duty bound to report it back to Chelsea.
There were it seems two un sanctioned meetings that he did indeed report .
I very much doubt those meetings were about hair products

See this is clever by Chelsea’s people now they have evidence of tapping up so like I’ve said before Chelsea could ask for silly silly compo and we know these Americans love this stuff they will go further to get what “they” deserve for missing out on champs league football, because of the “tapping” up which they can back up with evidence! Any manager going to that rancid hedge fund club should need there head examining!

Apologies I thought you were picking me up on the use, or lack of. It’s something that I constantly fail on.

Not sure that you can say with any certainty that he wasn’t approached with intent.
