Lovely place (Filey) a great beach to work on, I used to stay in a place in Boynton and get on the beach via Reighton Gap and walk to Filey and back.

There are some trailer park houses clinging to the side of the cliff, I am always amazed that they are still standing every year I go back :)
 
It's just occurred to me Chelsea are shooting themselves in the foot.
They are well known for sacking managers on a whim, but this episode is saying to any future prospective manager that you'll never work again after we sack you. Hardly likely to help attract the highest calibre of candidates with that mentality

Agree re set piece coach - it was the rest of the back room staff I was referring to. Let’s hope the set piece coach can now put into place some different ideas!!!

Not sure which ideas people want, the teams that are better at set peoces than us are those that go in for the wrestling and fouling,is that what people want? don't think Pep did. Besides which if the new rules being trialled in the world cup come in after the world cup then a lot of that will be clamped down on.
 
Imagine working somewhere and earning enough money that after 10 years you can say... 'fuck it' and take a couple of years off until you feel refreshed.

Instead we are forced to get up and goto work until we're 70 and so burnt out that we will never recover from it in those last couple of damaged years.

Agreed. But it would just be nice to be a bit more productive from our corners - we get enough! We consistently hit the ball to their goalkeeper. More short corners or planned runs needed as we’re not a very tall team.

I look forward to refs stopping the grappling introduced by boring Arsenal but you can bet that the first team penalised will be us for a soft push. Let’s see if Haaland gets a few more decisions in his favour

It was reported that Maresca had reported contact from City to the Chelsea board. Some time later he resigned.
